About The Position

Erdman Anthony is hiring a Transportation Construction Inspector to inspect and document a wide variety of contractor construction activities, confirming that work complies with specifications. The role includes reviewing and interpreting contract and job specifications and maintaining daily paperwork in accordance with client requirements. The work involves traveling to project sites, working outdoors in various weather conditions, and working different shifts, including overtime as needed. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Requirements

• Perform math calculations.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Stand for extended periods of time.
• Walk several miles per day.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Work various shifts, including overtime as needed.
• Meet one of the following eligibility paths: at least 2 years of transportation, highway, or bridge construction inspection experience; at least 4 years of highway or bridge construction experience; or an associate degree or Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.

Nice To Haves

• NICET Highway Construction Level II certification.
• PennDOT Concrete certification.
• NECEPT Bituminous certification.
