By joining our Warren County Equipment Unit 212 as a Transportation Auto and Truck Technician I, you’ll have the opportunity to learn to maintain District wide equipment, including trackhoes, dump trucks, loaders, pumps, etc.
Requirements
- High school graduate.
- Must have two years of automotive/equipment/truck repair technical experience.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license to qualify for employment in this job classification.
- Employees in this job classification must furnish the agency's appointing authority within six months of employment in the job classification, documentation that he or she possesses a valid Class A commercial driver's license.
- Must maintain any required licensure(s), certification(s), or other credentials for the length of employment in this job classification.

Responsibilities
- Change oil and hydraulics fluids.
- Search out electrical problems.
- Maintain equipment during snow and ice operations.
- Computer monitoring of equipment.
- Work on small and large equipment.
