About The Position

Buckner Retirement Services Community: Westminster Place is seeking a Transportation Associate to join their team. This role is crucial in serving residents' transportation needs, ensuring the process meets or exceeds Buckner's quality, service, and hospitality standards. The goal is to inspire happiness in the lives of others through exceptional customer service in transportation.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Valid Texas Drivers License
• Requires excellent communication or organizational skills.
• Requires ability to use up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or 20 pounds continuously to move food service and preparation equipment and other objects.
• Requires ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time; ability to turn, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, stand and walk over 75% of shift.

Responsibilities

• Answers phone in a warm and friendly manner when a guest calls to retrieve a car.
• Collects all the necessary information from the guest or nursing staff to ensure an accurate and safe transportation process.
• Provides transportation for residents and members to doctor’s appointments and outings in Buckner owned and operated vehicles.
• Maintains accurate control of keys for parked cars.
• Handles all resident interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolves customer complaints, assists customers in all inquiries in connection with Buckner Senior Living.
• Must be able to drive manual transmission vehicles.
