Transport Services Associate - Full-Time Days (Emergency Department)

About The Position
Performs delegated functions as a member of the Patient Transport Department. Provides patient transportation to and from testing or treatment areas, responds to STAT requests for specimens and patients, discharges patients to designated areas, transports outpatients to inpatient and testing areas, and performs other delivery services using the Transport Tracking System.
Requirements
- Ability to read and understand written instruction.
- Obtain a CPR certificate within 6 months of hire and maintain it after hire.
- Any employee certifications for Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) must be granted through the American Heart Association.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma preferred.
