About The Position
The Transport Services Associate performs delegated functions as a member of the Patient Transport Department. The role transports patients to and from testing or treatment areas, responds to STAT requests involving specimens and patients, takes discharged patients to designated areas, transports outpatients to inpatient and testing areas, and provides other delivery services using the Transport Tracking System.
Requirements
- Ability to read and understand written instruction.
- Obtain a CPR certificate within 6 months of hire and maintain it thereafter.
- Employee BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, if applicable, must be granted through the American Heart Association.
