About The Position

The Transport Associate works as a delegated member of the Patient Transport Department. The role provides patient transport to and from testing or treatment areas, responds to STAT requests involving specimens and patients, takes discharged patients to designated areas, transports outpatients to inpatient and testing areas, and performs other delivery services using the Transport Tracking System.

Requirements

Ability to read and understand written instructions.
Obtain a CPR certificate within six months of hire and maintain it thereafter.
Employee certifications for BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be granted through the American Heart Association, effective January 2019.
