About The Position
The Division of Nephrology, Department of Medicine at the University of Illinois Hospital and Health Sciences System is seeking a Nephrologist, Open Rank Non-Tenure System, to participate in the clinical, teaching and research activities of the Division. This position is intended to be eligible for benefits. This includes Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, a Retirement Plan, Paid time Off, and Tuition waivers for employees and dependents.
Requirements
- MD/DO
- BE/BC in Internal Medicine
- Nephrology
- Completed a fellowship in Nephrology or fulfilled UNOS equivalent training requirements
- Must have an Illinois state license prior to start date.
Responsibilities
- Scholarly activities
- Participation in the division’s clinical programs
- Full range of educational and mentoring activities for students, residents, and fellows
- Provide clinical support on both the transplant nephrology inpatient service and the outpatient clinic.
