About The Position

We are looking for a Translator to translate written materials from English into Slovenian while preserving their original meaning, format, and tone. The role involves understanding the context of each piece of copy, using specialized dictionaries and translation tools, and proofreading completed work. Translators are compensated hourly for the first six months, with time spent researching, brainstorming, and proofreading included. The company aims to provide a 10% increment during the first year of work. The translation team currently has more than 25 members and is growing.

Requirements

• Native Slovenian speaker.
• Availability of at least 5–10 hours per week.
• Proven work experience as a Translator, Interpreter, or in a similar role.
• Excellent proofreading skills, including the ability to identify grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors.
• Good knowledge of content editing tools.
• Familiarity with translation software.
• Time-management skills.
• Fluency in English.
