About The Position

Market America is seeking an experienced Spanish Translator to support its Marketing and Product Teams. The role provides written Spanish/English translation services for corporate business and marketing materials and manages multiple assignments simultaneously. The translator works with contacts including Product Managers, Scientific Affairs, Legal, IT, department managers, and the Executive Management Team. There are no supervisory responsibilities, though the employee may direct or train others.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Translation or a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
• Three to five years of experience in Spanish/English written translation, interpretation, and proofreading of legal, scientific, financial, advertising, and/or marketing materials.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and Internet workflow tools.
• Moderate-to-high or high proficiency in English and Spanish writing, speaking, reading comprehension, and linguistics.
• Moderate-to-above-moderate active listening, critical thinking, judgment, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Translate, edit, and proofread marketing and advertising materials.
• Update and audit the company’s corporate and product websites.
• Identify language issues and recommend changes to ensure accuracy and brand consistency.
• Perform English-to-Spanish and Spanish-to-English translations.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as needed.
