About The Position

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a Transitional Support professional to provide technical and project management assistance to the project team and Project Manager for Titan and Titan Phase 2 projects. This role involves working with Systems Engineering and project delivery teams to define and author engineering requirements, assisting with the creation of user documentation (User Manuals, Software Release Notes, etc.), and interfacing with various engineering groups to satisfy project requirements. The position also requires periodic email status reporting.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline
15+ years of experience working in the network equipment or similar industry.
Experience with project management tools such as MS Project or similar platforms, and Microsoft Office apps.
Demonstrated project management leadership, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, prioritize tasks, and drive projects to successful completion.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong documentation abilities.
Strong attention to detail and a proven ability to drive tasks to timely completion.
In-depth knowledge of product development through a structured cycle.
Proof of either US citizenship, Permanent US residency or classification as a protected individual as defined in 8 USC 1324b (a) (3) due to U.S. Export Controls Requirements.

Responsibilities

Provide technical and project management assistance to the project team and Project Manager for Titan and Titan Phase 2 projects.
Work with the Systems Engineering and project delivery teams to define and author engineering requirements.
Assist with the creation of user documentation, including but not limited to User Manuals, Software Release Notes and any other required user documentation.
Interface with various engineering groups with FTS to satisfy project requirements.
Periodically provide email status reports with key information.
