About The Position

The Center for Youth's Re-engaging Teens Restoring Justice Program focuses on youth aged 14-19 who have dropped out or are at risk of dropping out of school, have been released from or are participants in the juvenile justice system, are struggling with homelessness and food insecurity, and whose connections with meaningful adults are lacking. Transitional Navigators are part of a community-based team and are assigned to a specific focus area including: school-based programs, runaway and homeless youth programs, teen court/juvenile justice programs, community engagement/teen empowerment or workforce/gun violence prevention programs. This is a full-time, 35 hours per week, 12-month position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Service or related field AND 1-3 years' related experience OR equivalent combination
  • A valid drivers license
  • Strong crisis response skills
  • Case management skills

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a restorative-based system
  • Create and oversee data collection and program evaluation processes
  • Provide monthly reports to the Associate Director
