About The Position

The Spring is growing! We have an open position for a Transitional Living Support & Case Manager. The Spring is a faith-based nonprofit serving those who have experienced domestic violence, sexual violence, and human trafficking and are searching for safety, advocacy, and restoration. This position provides day-to-day administrative support for the residents of the Transitional Living programs. It also provides trauma-informed case management to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and human trafficking. Responsibilities include conducting intakes, creating individualized service and safety plans, assisting with applications for essential services, and offering ongoing emotional support and crisis intervention.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to sign the Spring's Statement of Faith
  • Valid Driver's license
  • Able to successfully handle multiple demands and perform effectively
  • Knowledge of domestic violence, sexual assault, trafficking and stalking dynamics
  • Understanding of trauma-informed care principles
  • Familiarity with social service systems, including housing, healthcare, employment resources and addition services
  • Knowledge of victim rights, protective orders and related legal processes
  • Knowledge of community resources and referral networks
  • Ability to build trust and rapport with survivors of trauma
  • Ability to remain calm and supportive during crises
  • Ability to adapt to changing client needs and update service/safety plans accordingly
  • Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and ethical standards
  • Willing and able to work both independently and as a team member
  • Strong communications skills (verbal, written and active listening)
  • Computer experience required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Maintain boundaries, both professional and personal

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, social work or related field preferred
  • One year administrative experience preferred
  • One year experience in social services preferred
  • Experience in domestic violence or sexual assault field, volunteer or related experience is suggested
  • Familiarity with Oklahoma laws and systems impacting survivors

Responsibilities

  • Handling front desk duties including answering phones, welcoming clients, community partners and guests to The Ridge
  • Assist in ensuring basic needs of the residents are being met
  • Ensure community spaces are stocked for residents and guests/groups usage
  • Coordinate and provide transportation for guests to approved places which may include job interviews, medical appointments, school, etc.
  • Clean and prepare cabins for new residents
  • Ensure all cabins meet the cleanliness and safety standards through weekly cabin checks
  • Provide trauma-informed case management to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and human trafficking
  • Offer emotional support and empowerment-based advocacy
  • Complete new intakes and program terminations according to policy and procedures
  • Assist residents with applications and paperwork, including employment, housing, healthcare, victim compensation, protective orders, addiction services, social services, and legal filings
  • Conduct comprehensive intakes and needs assessments to create individualized service and safety plans
  • Offer to meet with residents at least weekly to review and update service goals and safety plans
  • Facilitate support and educational groups for residents (must be available for after-hours groups)
  • Provide information, referrals, and warm hand-offs to community partners and social service agencies
  • Collaborate with law enforcement, legal advocates, healthcare providers, and other professionals to support holistic care
  • Advocate on behalf of clients to reduce barriers and increase access to services
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential case notes and service records
  • In collaboration with Transitional Living Coordinator collect and track rent
  • Assist with adult and children's activities
  • Assist with on-call duties of Transitional Living
