About The Position

Primrose School of Hilliard at Mill Run is hiring a Transitional Kindergarten Teacher to provide nurturing care and support young children’s learning and development. The teacher will build trusted relationships with families and help children develop a strong foundation in a joyful, welcoming childcare environment. The role uses the school’s Balanced Learning curriculum, provided through a digital platform, with age-appropriate lesson plans created for teachers. The school offers an on-site leadership team, high-quality facilities focused on health and safety, and centralized operational support. The position is Monday through Friday, with no nights or weekends. No prior experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment for transitional kindergarten-aged children.
• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans provided for the teacher.
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe learning space.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a supportive community.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
• Support children’s individual learning needs and encourage their social and emotional growth.
