About The Position

At Accenture Federal Services, the Transition Manager supports US federal government missions across defense, national security, public safety, civilian, and military health organizations. The role leads knowledge capture from an incumbent team, ensuring critical information and best practices are documented and transferred. It also supports the incoming team’s onboarding so they can quickly understand project requirements and operational nuances.

The position structures analysis of challenges against defined task areas, identifies gaps and opportunities, and defines modernization opportunities by assessing their impact and urgency to inform project timelines and roadmaps. It applies project management, change management, and transition management skills to support successful transitions and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Familiarity with project management methodologies, change management frameworks, and transition management processes.
• Experience with project tracking software, knowledge management systems, and workflow analysis platforms.
• Background in leading cross-functional teams through periods of change.
• Proven ability to drive process improvements and implement modernization initiatives.
• Exposure to environments undergoing transformation or modernization, particularly where rapid onboarding and knowledge transfer are critical.
