About The Position

At Accenture Federal Services, the Software Engineer develops and deploys complex technology systems supporting US federal government missions. The role designs system architectures and deployment plans, provides software and systems engineering expertise, resolves complex technical challenges, and oversees implementations from conception through completion. It also performs testing and reporting, supports system integration and acceptance, and prepares and presents design reviews and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Proven experience developing and deploying complex systems.
• Strong understanding of system design architecture and deployment plans.
• Expertise providing technical support and proposing solutions to technical challenges.
• Experience drafting technical reports and managing Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
• Familiarity with conducting Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews (PDRs/CDRs).
• Proficiency with release management tools, system integration platforms, and automated testing frameworks.
• Strong skills managing deployment pipelines and collaborating within cross-functional engineering teams.
• Ability to navigate complex release cycles and provide actionable feedback during testing phases.
• US work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement technology solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
• Design and architect system solutions, including preparing deployment plans and system design documentation.
• Provide subject matter expertise for software and systems engineering initiatives.
• Deploy systems and propose resolutions to complex technical challenges.
• Conduct testing, track defects, and prepare technical reports.
• Prepare and deliver Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs), Critical Design Reviews (CDRs), and Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
• Conduct system demonstrations and testing sessions.
• Support System Acceptance Tests (SATs) and successful system integration and deployment.
