About The Position

At Accenture Federal Services, the Software Engineer Lead supports US federal government missions by developing and deploying complex technology systems. The role oversees system design architecture, prepares deployment plans, supports software and systems engineering initiatives as a subject matter expert, and manages deployments from conception through completion. Requirements

• Experience collaborating in cross-functional engineering teams.

• Experience conducting demonstrations and supporting SATs.
• Excellent communication skills for providing clear, actionable feedback during testing phases.
• Must currently have an Active Top Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement technology solutions to meet business and technical requirements.
• Design and architect system solutions, including drafting deployment plans and system design documentation.
• Provide subject matter expertise for software and systems engineering initiatives.
• Deploy systems and propose resolutions to complex technical challenges.
• Perform comprehensive testing, including defect tracking and technical reporting.
• Prepare and deliver Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs), Critical Design Reviews (CDRs), and Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
• Conduct system demonstrations and testing sessions.
• Support System Acceptance Tests (SATs) and ensure successful system integration and deployment.
