About The Position

This role is for a Transition Manager who will be responsible for managing the transition of services, potentially from an incumbent provider, and implementing new operating models and capabilities. The role involves participating in service modernization and delivering measurable transformation outcomes, such as service quality improvements, defect reduction, automation implementation, AI adoption, and customer experience enhancements. The ideal candidate will have experience leading leaders, building mature organizations, and managing executive stakeholders, with a proven track record of measurable business impact.

Requirements

  • Experience within large managed services organizations.
  • Understanding of operational service delivery — not purely software development or application testing.
  • Ability to discuss service lifecycle management end to end.
  • Has transitioned services from an incumbent provider.
  • Has introduced new operating models and implemented new capabilities during transition.
  • Has participated in service modernization — not simply lifted and shifted.
  • Has delivered measurable transformation (note: modern transitions almost always include a transformation component).
  • Resumes should highlight measurable business impact. Prioritize results achieved, not responsibilities listed.
  • Service quality improvements and standardization.
  • Reduced defects, incidents, or operational failure rates.
  • Automation implementation and AIOps adoption.
  • AI-enabled service improvements.
  • Customer experience improvements.
  • Experience leading leaders — not just managing teams.
  • Track record building mature organizations and raising capability.
  • Executive stakeholder management and executive presence.
  • Involvement in client and sales engagements.
  • BA/BS degree and 8+ years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
