About The Position
Under general supervision, the Transit Operator operates a transit bus on specified fixed routes according to prescribed time schedules. The employee provides safe, dependable, and punctual transportation services to the public in a courteous and friendly manner. The operator must comply with applicable state and local traffic laws and regulations, City ordinances, and safety rules, policies, and procedures to ensure passenger well-being.
