About The Position

The PPRL Outbound Phone Survey Researcher position involves interviewing people via telephone and accurately entering responses into a computer-based data collection system. The questions typically involve a variety of business, health, political and economic issues. This job is relatively low stress, as it requires sitting, dialing phone numbers, data entry, and interacting with people on the phone. This is a remote job. You will perform this job entirely off-site at your home. This job posting is for an out-bound call center. We do not receive any incoming calls.

Requirements

  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Basic typing skills
  • Acceptable reading and pronunciation skills
  • Friendly, outgoing and have a conversational tone of voice
  • Clear speaking voice and be able to communicate well over the phone
  • Ability to follow set procedures
  • Some previous retail or customer service experience
  • A relatively up-to-date home computer
  • A strong Ethernet/broadband internet connection at home
  • A headset w/ microphone that can plug into your home computer
  • A quiet homework environment with minimal interruptions
  • Minimum commitment of at least 12 hours per week
  • Maximum of no more than 20 hours per week
  • Valid U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and maintain that valid work authorization throughout employment
