Requirements

  • 3 years of hotel sales experience.
  • Strong understanding of hotel sales, revenue management, and market segmentation.
  • Demonstrated experience managing Corporate Transient, Wholesale, and/or Luxury Leisure accounts with proven ability to maintain long term client relationships.
  • Experience within luxury, upscale, or resort hospitality environments strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to sit and work at a desk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to use a computer, keyboard, mouse, telephone, and other standard office equipment for extended periods.
  • Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the office or workplace.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, and through electronic communication.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry office materials, files, supplies, or equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements associated with computer and office equipment use.
  • Ability to maintain visual attention and concentration for extended periods while working on a computer and reviewing documents.
  • Ability to navigate office areas safely, including walking between workstations, meeting rooms, and common areas.

Responsibilities

  • Generate room revenue and increase market share through proactive sales efforts targeting Corporate Transient, Wholesale, Consortia, Travel Advisor, and Luxury Leisure segments.
  • Develop and maintain key relationships with travel professionals, wholesalers, corporate travel buyers, and luxury travel advisors to drive transient business and achieve revenue goals.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans for Corporate Transient, Wholesale, and Luxury Leisure market segments.
  • Solicit new business while maintaining and growing existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals.
  • Identify and pursue new account opportunities through prospecting, networking, industry events, and market research.
  • Conduct sales calls, virtual presentations, property tours, and client entertainment activities.
  • Negotiate rate agreements and contracts in alignment with hotel revenue strategies.
  • Manage annual account reviews, RFP submissions, and contract renewals.
  • Develop relationships with corporate travel managers, relocation, and business travel agencies.
  • Participate in RFP processes and negotiate preferred corporate agreements.
  • Monitor production and identify opportunities to increase market penetration within local and national accounts.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with tour operators, wholesalers and receptive operators.
  • Negotiate rates and promotional opportunities.
  • Monitor production, market trends, and competitive activity to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Build relationships with luxury travel advisors, consortia networks, and host agencies.
  • Represent the property at luxury travel events, trade shows, and industry conferences.
  • Promote hotel experiences, amenities, and packages designed for luxury travelers.
  • Maintain active engagement with key luxury programs and preferred partner networks.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and activity reports.
  • Track account production and develop action plans for underperforming accounts.
  • Prepare forecasts, sales reports, and market intelligence updates for leadership.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Management to ensure pricing strategies maximize profitability.
  • Attend trade shows, industry events, sales missions, and networking functions.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing team on promotions, partnerships, and sales campaigns.
  • Represent the hotel professionally and uphold brand standards in all interactions.
  • Perform additional tasks assigned by management.
