  • Experience designing or implementing AI-enabled automation, tool-based workflows, or other intelligent solutions involving enterprise knowledge, system integrations, exception handling, human review, and production monitoring.
  • Experience analyzing complex operational processes, documenting system and workflow dependencies, and designing future-state solutions that complement established production platforms and controls.
  • Ability to independently evaluate complex and diverse problems, exercise sound judgment, organize competing priorities, and select methods based on business value, scalability, reliability, and operational risk.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and demonstrated ability to listen, build trusted relationships, facilitate cross-functional discussions, communicate technical concepts clearly, and collaborate with business and technology stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business analytics, data science, or a related discipline.
  • Hands-on experience with AIX, OpCon, Perl, Shell, SFTP, NDM, or comparable operating-system, workload-automation, scripting, and managed file-transfer technologies.
  • Experience designing batch-job dependencies, scheduling logic, file-arrival controls, exception handling, rerun procedures, controlled recovery, and duplicate-processing safeguards.
  • Experience developing Power BI dashboards or comparable reporting solutions for workload performance, operational exceptions, service levels, reliability, capacity, or productivity.
  • Experience designing agentic workflows using enterprise knowledge retrieval, tool calling, structured outputs, multistep orchestration, approval gates, and escalation paths.
  • Experience with an enterprise AI development platform such as Vertex, or comparable experience developing and deploying intelligent automation solutions.
  • Experience with Model Context Protocol concepts, reusable connectors, REST APIs, or other approaches for connecting intelligent workflows to enterprise systems.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, IBM Bob, JetBrains AI Assist, or comparable technology to analyze, develop, test, document, or modernize code.
  • Understanding of semantic search, embeddings, enterprise knowledge retrieval, source grounding, and content-access controls.
  • Experience with observability, telemetry, distributed tracing, or production-investigation platforms such as Datadog or Honeycomb.
  • Experience using Jira and Confluence, or comparable platforms, to manage requirements, technical work, testing, decisions, documentation, and production releases.
  • Experience with Agile delivery, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, incremental delivery, demonstrations, retrospectives, and production stabilization.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, DMAIC, root-cause analysis, or another structured continuous-improvement methodology.
  • Experience creating current-state and future-state process maps documenting systems, handoffs, dependencies, controls, exceptions, and decision points.
  • Experience establishing quantitative and qualitative baselines and measuring improvements in cycle time, quality, reliability, rework, exception volume, service levels, or operational capacity.
  • Experience supporting high-availability, business-critical, financial-services, or regulated production environments.
  • Experience mentoring developers, analysts, engineers, or less-experienced automation professionals.
