The NBRC Training Supervisor develops and manages the design, development and delivery of NBRC’s training and orientation programs to prepare and equip employees to meet the needs of the agency, and ultimately, individuals served. This position will also work with subject matter experts to ensure employees receive the training and development necessary to excel in their current and future roles. Specifically, this role, the NBRC Training Supervisor will: Oversee New Employee Orientation (NEO), onboarding, and training. Train employees in new and/or updated internal policies and procedures. Ensure effective curriculum design, development, and delivery. Oversee and administer the Learning Management System (LMS). Participate in the statewide Training & Information Group (TIG). Support conferences, events, and other skill development activities. Participate in community outreach events. Supervise individuals in the Training Unit. Work with the Policy and Procedures Committee to develop and maintain updated training materials. Under the direction of the Director of Administrative Services, provides supervision to the NBRC Training Unit. Oversees assessment and monitoring of current employees’ skills and training needs. Designs, implements, conducts, and evaluates employee training and development programs to prepare employees to meet the needs of NBRC and individuals served. Ensures current training information is easily available and publicized to employees. Continuously evaluates existing training programs and courses for effectiveness. Develops and oversees catalog of available courses and annual calendar. Participates in meetings and conferences for information relevant to training needs and development. Provides external training and community involvement.
