About The Position

We are looking for a high energy and passionate individual to join our rapidly growing team. The Training Lead is an exciting opportunity to make a big impact on every team member within ITS Logistics. This role is responsible for designing, implementing and evolving best in class training programs from start to finish. The Training Lead instills the ITS culture, core values, intangible qualities and mentality within each team member who joins the company starting on day one. You will be responsible for building relationships with all team members, facilitating hands-on learning in and out of the classroom and holding team members to our standards.

Requirements

  • Two years of experience in the supply chain and logistics industry, or three or more years of experience in instructional design and training development and delivery.
  • Previous experience in training and/or mentoring others.
  • A dynamic, outgoing and engaging personality with the ability to build deep relationships quickly.
  • Experience in presenting information in front of groups.
  • Self-motivated, organized and detailed-oriented.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Experience implementing training modules preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Create training experiences that align with our culture and standards and provides a positive experience for new team members.
  • Develop and deliver training content to new and existing team members through different modalities (i.e. instructor-led training, web-based training, hands-on training, job aids, quick reference guides, simulations, etc.).
  • Guide new team members through their experience and acclimation to ITS’ culture.
  • Optimize training program, always striving toward continuous improvement without sacrificing retention.
  • Constantly monitor, evaluate, make recommendations for and report on improvement on the ITS Training Plan’s effectiveness, success, scalability and ROI.
  • Regularly evaluate trainee performance to ensure transfer of knowledge and application to day-to-day operations.
  • Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, techniques, developments and best practices, as well as industry news and technology.
  • Actively contribute to department and company goals.
  • Uphold and deliver ITS core values and best practices to team members.
  • Interface with operations and leadership to ensure training aligns with business needs.
  • Provide weekly reporting to Leadership team.
  • Other duties as assigned.
