About The Position

The Training & Performance Specialist will be responsible for maintaining records of training activities and needs, monitoring program effectiveness, and recommending improvements. This role involves tracking and reporting on employee participation or assessment results, coordinating materials and facilities for training sessions, and assisting employees with the Learning Management System. The specialist may also conduct needs assessments, focus groups, or employee interviews to identify areas for improvement. Additionally, this position provides ongoing coordination and support for the company’s Leadership Development Program and Talent Management Program.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work a 2nd shift schedule (example: 1:00 pm - 9:30pm)
  • Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment
  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
  • Work performed in warehouse/manufacturing environment
  • Job will require punctual attendance and regular presence on-site at the assigned work location
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management.
  • Minimum 2 years training and development experience
  • Experience in logistics industry preferred.
  • Pays attention to detail and accuracy
  • Possesses good interpersonal skills and ability to listen effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Has strong problem-solving and analytical ability
  • Demonstrated ability to show good judgment at all times
