About The Position

This role is responsible for managing and coordinating training activities, monitoring program effectiveness, and supporting employee development initiatives. The specialist will maintain training records, track participation and assessment results, and assist employees with the Learning Management System. The position also involves supporting the company's Leadership Development Program and Talent Management Program, and may conduct needs assessments to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management.
  • Minimum 2 years training and development experience
  • Experience in logistics industry preferred.
  • Pays attention to detail and accuracy
  • Possesses good interpersonal skills and ability to listen effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Has strong problem-solving and analytical ability
  • Demonstrated ability to show good judgment at all times
  • Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment
  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
  • Work performed in warehouse/manufacturing environment
  • Job will require punctual attendance and regular presence on-site at the assigned work location
  • This position requires the final candidate to successfully pass an E-Verify Check.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains records of training activities and training needs, monitors program effectiveness, and recommends improvements.
  • Tracks and reports on employee participation or assessment results.
  • Coordinates materials and facilities for training sessions, including handouts, supplies, technology and virtual or physical conference rooms.
  • Assists employees in use of Learning Management System.
  • May conduct needs assessments, focus groups or employee interviews to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provides ongoing coordination and support of the company’s Leadership Development Program.
  • Provides ongoing coordination and support of the company’s Talent Management Program.
  • Other duties assigned
