Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD) is seeking a Training Officer for the Division of Employer & Innovation Services (EIS). This role develops and leads virtual and in-person trainings, plans and schedules webinars, prepares materials, and ensures accessibility and branding standards. Duties include writing scripts, designing slides, creating guides, promoting events, handling registrations, tracking attendance, and publishing resources. The role oversees training compliance and credentialing, corrects captions, issues certificates, responds to participant questions, analyzes feedback, and reviews resource guides. Additional tasks involve managing contact lists, fulfilling accommodation requests, maintaining shared files, coordinating records, inventory, and purchases. Candidates should have instructional design knowledge, strong computer skills especially in presentation, design, and communication tools, attention to detail, effective communication, ability to organize and prioritize work, maintain accurate records, handle sensitive inquiries, and collaborate effectively. This role supports OOD’s mission by delivering quality training and fostering statewide partnerships.
