The Training Manager is a key member of the Manufacturing & Assembly (M&A) Discipline Health organization within Pratt & Whitney Operations. This role is responsible for leading the strategy, development, deployment, and continuous improvement of technical training for the Columbus M&A workforce, including both hourly production associates and frontline leaders. This position partners closely with Module Center (Mod Center) leadership, HR, subject matter experts (SMEs), and production supervisors to understand capability needs and ensure workforce proficiency in support of safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives. The Training Manager also plays a central role in establishing enterprise‑aligned training standards, curriculum frameworks, and qualification processes across the Mod Center. Success in this role requires strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, expertise in curriculum design and adult learning, and the ability to lead change in a complex, matrixed environment. This position directly supervises technical trainers and may manage external or vendor training resources as needed. This role supports the Manufacturing & Assembly site in Columbus, GA and requires an understanding of manufacturing processes used in Columbus Forge Blades and Disks, including forging of titanium and nickel alloys, heat treatment, precision machining, surface conditioning, and nondestructive inspection (NDI).
