This role effectively divides time to accomplish both Training Manager and Store Manager duties. As a Training Manager, you will act as a trainer for new managers, hosting them at your home store to set an example and provide hands-on training. You will coordinate training to ensure new managers receive all scheduled training, provide feedback throughout the process, and partner with the Training Director and Retail Director to keep them informed of trainee progress. You may also act as a mentor to new managers after the training program is complete. You should be comfortable providing training and sharing training documents in-person, via phone, and/or online. As a Store Retail Manager, you will manage the daily operations of your assigned retail store, modeling professional boundaries with staff, participants, and the public. You will build strong working relationships, be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, merchandising, and inventory, and ensure the store is kept in an orderly fashion, rotating merchandise, and overseeing its production and pricing. Your goal will be to manage inventory for maximum product return, operate the store and plant efficiently, and meet net income goals. You will supervise and train all store personnel, including new Team Members, and be responsible for store safety and ensuring a high level of guest and donor service. You will also assure that Easter Seals-Goodwill policies and procedures are uniformly followed.
