About The Position

Goodwill is seeking a Store Manager to manage all aspects of a retail thrift store, including staffing, donation processing and pricing, sales floor presentation, and administrative oversight. This role involves managing store logistics, inventory, and performance goals, overseeing the entire donated goods process from donation to sales floor, and ensuring a safe and clean store environment. The Store Manager will provide outstanding customer service, supervise the store management team, and work collaboratively to meet budget and production goals.

Requirements

Customer service.
Experience supervising and hiring staff.
Computer skills, including email, intranet, metrics applications for data entry, Microsoft Word, webinar/conference call, etc.
Budget management and tracking.
Leadership, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
Able to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with staff and customers.
Able to move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the facility.
Able to lift and carry 20-100 pounds with team lifting or mechanical assistance.
Able to stand, stoop, bend, or carry for extended periods.
Tolerant to extreme changes in temperature and humidity.
Have reliable transportation, a good driving record, valid driver’s license, and proof of personal vehicle insurance.
Pass DMV check.
All positions require the completion of a background check.
Experience 3-5 years of supervisory/management experience, preferably in retail.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Recruit, hire, train and terminate staff.
Work as a team to meet budget and production goals.
Ensure adherence to organization’s policies and procedures.
Provide regular and accurate reporting to human resources, asset protection, safety, finance, and other departments.
Complete required safety assessments.
Oversee store budget, staffing, and goals.
