This role effectively divides time between Training Manager and Store Manager duties. As a Training Manager, you will act as a trainer for new managers, hosting them at your home store, setting an example, and providing hands-on training. You will coordinate training to ensure new managers receive all scheduled training, provide feedback throughout the process, and partner with the Training Director and Retail Director to keep them informed of trainee progress. You may also act as a mentor to new managers after the training program is complete. You should be comfortable providing training and sharing documents in-person, via phone, and/or online. As a Store Retail Manager, you will manage the daily operations of the assigned retail store, modeling professional boundaries with staff, participants, and the public. You will build strong working relationships, maintain cleanliness, merchandising, and inventory, and ensure the store is orderly with rotated merchandise. Responsibilities include overseeing the production and pricing of merchandise, managing inventory for maximum product return, operating the store efficiently to meet budget goals, supervising and training all store personnel, and ensuring store safety. You will also be responsible for maintaining a high level of guest and donor service and ensuring Easter Seals-Goodwill policies and procedures are uniformly followed.
