About The Position

KBR’s National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the country’s most critical role – protecting our national security. KBR is seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented Training Lead to join our team. You will be responsible for developing, managing, and executing the training program that enables mission-ready operators within a Space Operations Center. This role ensures personnel are fully qualified to perform operational duties, maintain proficiency on mission systems, and respond effectively to real time space operations. This is a contingent position based upon contract award

Requirements

• Master’s Degree plus 11 years of relevant experience with demonstrated expertise or Bachelor’s Degree with 12 years of relevant experience with demonstrated expertise or No Degree with 14 years of relevant experience with demonstrated expertise
• 3 years’ experience relevant to customer on-orbit systems and/or space operations programs
• 3 years’ experience as a training manager and/or instructor for space related tools and/or systems
• Perform contract tasks independently and lead teams
• Active TS/SCI (or SCI eligibility with current TS)

Responsibilities

• Ensures operations staff are proficient with existing and nascent tools with a primary focus on flight safety tools
• Responsible for developing and managing training regime at the various operating locations to ensure operator readiness (including threats and responses) prior to any system delivery.
