About The Position

The Training Lead is responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating training programs to ensure employees have the necessary skills and knowledge, particularly in a manufacturing or production environment. This role involves creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), facilitating on-the-job training for new hires and current employees, and communicating training content in both English and Spanish. The Training Lead will partner with supervisors to address daily training needs on the production floor, track employee progress, and reinforce safety, quality, and operational standards. They will also support onboarding activities, identify training gaps, and collaborate with managers to resolve learning challenges, all while providing hands-on support in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Requirements

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office or similar systems)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • 1–2 years of experience in training, manufacturing, or a related field
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Exposure to SOPs, work instructions, or structured training programs

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation, revision, and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Assess training and development needs; support individuals and teams in building skills and knowledge
  • Develop training materials and deliver in-person training sessions
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements
  • Identify and coordinate training requirements for the coordination team
  • Facilitate and support on-the-job training (OJT) for new hires and current employees
  • Clearly communicate training content in both English and Spanish
  • Partner with supervisors to support daily training needs on the production floor
  • Track employee training progress and maintain accurate, up-to-date records
  • Reinforce safety, quality, and operational standards throughout all training activities
  • Provide hands-on support in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Identify training gaps and escalate concerns to leadership as appropriate
  • Support onboarding activities and new hire orientation
  • Ensure all training initiatives align with established SOPs and company standards
  • Collaborate with managers to resolve learning challenges, instructional issues, and emerging training needs
