About The Position

The Training Facilitator II provides training support for assigned contract(s) under general supervision. This role involves providing technical support, including the test, evaluation, validation, and certification of training devices. The position requires reviewing training curriculum and documentation, developing and updating program training budgets, schedules, and milestones, and creating training presentations and issue papers. Responsibilities also include participating in the testing, inspection, and installation of training devices, providing technical assessments, and facilitating training programs. The role may involve developing training device engineering change proposals, providing work direction to lower-level personnel, and developing, tracking, and reporting training metrics. Travel, including overnight stays and driving to remote locations over rough terrain, may be required. Each employee must adhere to general and specific operational, safety, quality, and environmental requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, education, or a technical discipline, or equivalent formal training and experience
  • At least seven (7) years of job-related training experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in operating application software including word-processing and spreadsheet programs
  • Planning/organizing skills
  • Ability to work under deadlines
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must qualify for and maintain a government security clearance
  • Must possess a valid, state - issued driver's license

Responsibilities

  • Review training curriculum and documentation to ensure development is in accordance with specifications
  • Develop and update program training budgets, schedules and milestones; develop training presentations and issue papers
  • Participate in the testing, inspection, and installation of training devices
  • Provide technical assessment of training devices and report results to the customer
  • Facilitate training programs to selected workforce segments and assess results
  • Review and comment on equipment facility requirements, system specifications, development specifications and other program documentation
  • Develop training device engineering change proposals
  • Provide work direction to lower-level training personnel
  • Develop, track, and report training metrics as required
  • Ability to travel overnight as required to satisfy J-Tech II contract, training, and employee development requirements, as needed
  • Must be able to drive/travel to remote locations over rough terrain
  • Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested
