About The Position

The Training Coordinator assists in the leadership, administration, and coordination of the plant's training and employee resource programs and processes to assure the organization develops and realizes the full potential of the workforce in support of the business strategic plans and the pursuit of business excellence.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
  • Must reside within a 50-mile radius of Arden, NC (Active-Duty military are exempt from the geographical requirement)
  • Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience as a Trainer
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Previous experience in public speaking/presenting in front of groups

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of three (3) years working as a Trainer in a manufacturing/industrial environment
  • Associates degree from an accredited university

Responsibilities

  • Support new hire training, PIV hands on training, and crane/hoist hands on training, which includes maintaining all training documents, training new hires, and any re-training that may be required. Including instructing Mechanical bootcamp.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure training materials are effective and relevant
  • Maintain group's cross-training matrix(ces)
  • Provide training to both individuals and groups as needed
  • Complete special training projects as needed
