About The Position

In this role, you'll join a collaborative team supporting caregivers through onboarding, orientation, ongoing training, and skills development while helping ensure training requirements are completed accurately and on time. As a Training Coordinator, you will play a key role in preparing new and existing care providers to successfully support the individuals served by Cambrian. You'll coordinate and deliver orientations and ongoing training, ensure required documentation is complete, track training compliance, assess caregiver skills, and maintain accurate training records. This is a people-focused role requiring strong presentation skills, organization, attention to detail, and the ability to adjust your training approach based on how people learn. You'll work closely with candidates, caregivers, HR, the Quality Department, and community partners to ensure training and onboarding are completed accurately and effectively.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to confidently speak to groups and deliver engaging, effective training sessions.
  • Ability to deliver engaging and effective training sessions and adjust presentation style based on different learning needs.
  • Comfort working with company software and completing accurate data entry; experience with Excel, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or similar systems is beneficial.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, accountability, respectfulness, kindness toward candidates, confidentiality, and an understanding of compliance requirements.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned service area and, when driving is required for company business, possess a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and meet applicable company requirements.
  • Ability to bend and lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience conducting training, orientations, presentations, or employee development is preferred.
  • Experience in home care, healthcare training, or a related service environment.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or the senior population.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills with the ability to complete required documentation accurately and on time.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and deliver orientations and ongoing training sessions for new and existing care providers, using company-approved materials and adapting presentation styles to support different learning needs.
  • Track and report caregiver training compliance, ensure orientation documentation is complete and accurate according to company and regulatory requirements, and maintain timely training records.
  • Assess and ensure new care provider skill competency in both in-home and skills-lab settings, provide skills training as requested, and support training initiatives that promote successful outcomes.
  • Prepare for incoming candidates, review pending HR documentation, greet candidates, collect required legal documents, answer questions, support online diversity training, and provide prompt, professional, and friendly service to care providers.
  • Complete accurate and timely data entry for newly hired care providers in company systems, including entering required information into Matrix and ensuring onboarding documentation is completed correctly and in the appropriate order.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with community organizations, healthcare providers, workforce development agencies, and referral sources; attend community and referral-source meetings and assist in identifying training needs through caregiver and community interactions.
