About The Position

ACLD's Training and Compliance Facilitator provides training to Vocational staff, participates in Vocational department billing and compliance processes, and oversees the department's scheduling of staff and assignments. ACLD is a leading not-for-profit agency founded in 1957, assisting children, teens, and adults in reaching the highest level of independence. The agency employs over 1200 staff across more than 70 program sites in Nassau and Suffolk.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, Education or related field, strongly preferred
• Minimum one year experience working in the field
• Clean, valid NYS Drivers License

Responsibilities

• Design and implement the vocational staff training program
• Develop curriculum and training materials to ensure a well-trained workforce
• Provide orientation and ongoing training to all job coaches and job developers
• Through training and observation assist the coordinators as requested to ensure ongoing provision of services in compliance with all internal and regulatory quality assurance and corporate compliance standards; provide refresher training sessions as indicated
• Maintain monthly vocational calendar
• Input monthly information necessary to complete quarterly reports
• Provide job coaching services, as needed
• Other duties as assigned
