About The Position

OCT Consulting is seeking a Training and Adoption Specialist to support a federal client. This role is responsible for ensuring user readiness and adoption of new technologies, developing and delivering training programs, creating user guides and documentation, conducting user training sessions, and assisting with communication efforts to facilitate smooth business transitions for deployed solutions. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree (MA/MS) with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience.
• A minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience may be substituted for a formal degree.
• Relevant experience includes developing training materials, conducting user training, and supporting technology adoption.
• At least one (1) year of required experience must be in support of federal government agencies (such as USCG, DHS, or DoD).
• Must be able to undergo and successfully complete a Homeland Security Presidential Directive (HSPD)-12 qualifying Tier 2 background investigation for Common Access Card (CAC) issuance.

Nice To Haves

• Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) or Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD) certification
