About The Position

OCT Consulting is seeking an Operations Research Analyst to support a federal client. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining performance dashboards and program reports, translating business requirements into KPIs, analyzing data to identify trends and insights, and providing clear, actionable data visualizations using tools like Power BI. The analyst will also support strategic planning and performance management initiatives. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• A Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience, OR a Master’s degree (MA/MS) with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience may be substituted for a formal degree.
• Relevant experience includes data analysis, performance management, business intelligence, and dashboard development.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in support of federal government agencies (such as USCG or DHS).
• Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) certification.
• Must be able to undergo and successfully complete a Homeland Security Presidential Directive (HSPD)-12 qualifying Tier 2 background investigation for Common Access Card (CAC) issuance.
