This role is responsible for demonstrating job tasks to new hires, recording their performance, understanding staffing requirements, conducting plant tours, and giving new hire orientations. The pay rate for this position is $20.28 per hour.
Requirements
- Must be able to train hourly personnel in processing and packaging departments.
- Must be able to understand staffing requirements.
- Must be able to hang live chickens.
- Must be able to lift at least 45lbs.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in addition to interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to speak, read and write English.
- Must have an excellent work and attendance record.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate job tasks to new hires so that they will understand the physical requirements as well as quality, safety, and using good manufacturing practices.
- Record new hires' job performance on proficiency sheet.
- Understand staffing requirements on lines for different product runs and adjust staffing and training, in coordination with the line supervisor.
- Conduct plant tours for applicants.
- Give new hire orientations.
- Train hourly personnel in processing and packaging departments.
- Hang live chickens.
- Work under pressure with short timeframe deadlines.
