About The Position

The Cherry Picker Associate is responsible for operating battery-powered lift equipment in a safe and efficient manner, along with handheld scanning devices to manage the placement of inventory within a warehouse environment. This role involves receiving, putting away, replenishing, and loading inventory, as well as picking orders. The associate will also assist with physical inventory to maintain accuracy and perform routine general maintenance on lift equipment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Forklift License
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and changing environment with a focus on meeting deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to read and interpret paperwork.
Maintain consistent, dependable attendance.
Basic personal computer skills that include the ability to send/receive email messages, post information to a database or spreadsheet, and perform basic word processing, bookkeeping, and/or data entry.

Nice To Haves

Reach truck experience preferred
Counterbalance fork truck operator experience preferred
Warehouse Operations experience preferred

Responsibilities

Operates a variety of battery powered lift equipment to receive, put away, replenish, load inventory within a distribution warehouse, and pick orders.
Assist with physical inventory to maintain accuracy of product in warehouse.
Provide routine general maintenance on lift equipment: nightly charging of unit batteries, watering, checking for wear, and requesting service on inoperable equipment.
