About The Position

The Cherry Picker operates cherry picker/order picker forklifts to retrieve, pick, and move products from elevated warehouse storage locations. The role fulfills customer orders using RF scanners and warehouse management systems, verifies order details, and prepares picked products for shipping. It also supports staging, replenishment, put-away, inventory locating, and general warehouse organization while following safety requirements and company procedures. This position works second shift, Wednesday through Saturday, from 5:00 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. The posting lists pay of $20.50 per hour and a pay range of $19.18–$32.40. Work may take place in cold storage temperatures as low as -20°F/-25°C or dry storage temperatures up to 100°F/37°C, with company-provided PPE and freezer gear. Requirements

Previous experience operating cherry picker/order picker forklifts is preferred.
Ability to safely operate equipment at elevated heights while using required fall protection.
Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems is preferred.
Ability to understand instructions in the country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F/-25°C in cold storage facilities or up to 100°F/37°C in dry storage facilities while wearing company-provided PPE and freezer gear.
Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs; weight requirements may vary by facility.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends as needed.
Comfort working in warehouse environments with varying noise levels.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Operate cherry picker/order picker forklifts to retrieve, pick, and move products from elevated warehouse storage locations.
Pick and fulfill customer orders accurately and on time using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
Verify order numbers, product descriptions, quantities, and locations.
Label and prepare picked products, pallets, and packages for shipping.
Safely navigate warehouse aisles and elevated racking systems while operating cherry picker equipment.
Assist with staging, replenishment, put-away, and locating inventory.
Report damaged products, pallets, equipment, or inventory discrepancies to the appropriate supervisor.
Complete daily equipment inspections and forklift maintenance checklists.
Monitor battery levels, charge equipment properly, and keep work areas clean and organized.
Follow warehouse safety procedures, including proper fall protection and required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Operate other forklifts and material handling equipment as needed.
Assist with general warehouse duties, including inventory organization, staging, and order preparation.
