About The Position

The Trainer / Tradeshow Manager develops and delivers training programs to help customers, employees, and dealer sales representatives understand the AMD product portfolio, with a special emphasis on laser therapy for practicing hygienists. The role requires a hygienist license and willingness to become certified to train hygiene schools and Dental Service Organizations in person. The position also leads the planning, coordination, execution, and evaluation of the company’s participation in tradeshows, conferences, exhibitions, and industry events. The role works across sales, marketing, operations, and leadership to deliver effective training and events, and requires regular travel for training events and tradeshows. Performance is assessed through training completion and effectiveness, new customer adoption, employee performance at events, post-event follow-up, event satisfaction, and brand representation.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience as a hygienist and a current license.
Willingness to become certified to train practicing hygienists.
Enjoy working directly with customers to help them build confidence in laser therapy.
Strong presentation, communication, organization, and project-management skills.
Experience training, coaching, or developing customers and employees.
Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and budgets simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, AI tools, and event-management platforms.
Willingness to travel regularly for required training events and tradeshows.

Nice To Haves

Hands-on experience working with laser therapy as a hygienist.
Experience developing formal training programs or sales enablement materials.
Some experience managing tradeshows.
Familiarity with lead-generation and CRM processes.

Responsibilities

Gain clinical, technical, and practice-value expertise on all AMD products.
Conduct in-person or remote training to help hygienists become certified or proficient in laser treatments.
Lead training events at hygiene schools and educate faculty on laser-specific treatments.
Work with AMD sales and DSO teams to address customer training needs.
Conduct remote training for customers new to laser treatments.
Provide product training for new hires to build confidence and support quick results.
Conduct virtual training for dealer representatives as requested.
Help develop training materials, presentations, guides, checklists, and performance tools.
Track training effectiveness and recommend improvements based on team and event results.
Develop and manage the annual tradeshow and event calendar.
Coordinate event logistics, including booth selection, contracts, registration, shipping, setup, staffing, travel, and dismantling.
Coordinate with sales, marketing, operations, and leadership to establish event objectives and strategies.
Help oversee booth design, signage, promotional materials, demonstrations, giveaways, and other event assets.
Provide input on pre-show marketing and outreach campaigns to drive attendance and appointments.
Coordinate lead capture, qualification, follow-up, and reporting after each event.
Maintain relationships with event organizers and industry partners.
Identify events and opportunities aligned with company growth objectives.
