About The Position

FIS is seeking a Trainer Senior to develop and deliver client learning programs supporting trust, custody and investment management services. The role translates complex financial-services processes, products and applications into practical learning experiences for financial institution clients and internal teams. The Trainer Senior assesses learning needs, creates and maintains training materials, and delivers instructor-led, virtual and digital learning to support client adoption, operational effectiveness and evolving business needs. The position manages assigned training initiatives from planning through delivery, working with clients, subject matter experts and internal teams to understand business needs, coordinate learning plans, resolve issues and improve training effectiveness. The role helps clients build practical knowledge and confidence in trust, custody and investment management operations through relevant, accurate and engaging learning programs.

Requirements

Experience with wealth management, trust administration, custody and/or investment management operations within a financial institution or financial-services environment.
Demonstrated experience designing and delivering instructor-led and virtual training, including strong presentation, facilitation and classroom-management skills.
Experience conducting training needs assessments and applying adult-learning principles to develop instructional strategies and learning materials.
Experience creating and maintaining presentations, course materials, training guides, job aids or other learning resources using standard workplace technology.
Strong client-service, communication, relationship-building, project-management and problem-solving skills.
Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts and work independently.

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting back-office wealth management processes and training on financial-services products, applications or operational workflows.
Familiarity with instructional design methodologies, multimedia development tools and digital learning approaches.
Experience customizing course content, supporting train-the-trainer programs, and using learner feedback or evaluation results to improve training.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and deliver task- and job-based learning programs for trust, custody and investment management services, including instructor-led, virtual and digital learning.
Conduct training needs assessments and select instructional strategies based on learner skill levels, business processes, job responsibilities and client objectives.
Create, customize and maintain presentations, training guides, job aids, tutorials and other learning resources, collaborating with subject matter experts to keep content accurate and current.
Deliver engaging client training in classroom and virtual environments, including standard, customized and train-the-trainer programs.
Evaluate training effectiveness through learner feedback and training outcomes.
Manage assigned training initiatives from planning through delivery, partnering with clients and internal teams to understand business needs, coordinate learning plans, address issues and continuously improve training effectiveness.
