About The Position

The Trainer, Fleet Maintenance facilitates training programs and related meetings and discussions. The role researches and coordinates training resources and materials, and develops training materials, processes, and events. It also plans and coordinates all facets of training events and prepares concise, constructive communications and documents. The trainer solves problems, assesses their relative importance, considers relevant factors, and prioritizes tasks and assignments.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience.
At least 1 year of instructor-led facilitation experience in a classroom and/or virtual training environment.
Knowledge of adult learning and management theories.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Thorough knowledge of training information, trends, techniques, technologies, processes, and philosophies.
Thorough knowledge of heavy-duty trucks, trailing equipment, air conditioning, diesel engines, and electrical and electronic diagnosis and repair.
ASE certification.
Ability to relate classroom material to real-world situations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent time management, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment.
Operations experience.
Ability to travel.
Valid driver’s license.
