About The Position

Dent Wizard is hiring a Trainee Automotive Key Technician to work an assigned route serving automotive dealers and other customers. The technician produces duplicate vehicle keys and transponders that function like the originals, maintains equipment and inventory, submits invoices and work orders, and builds positive, productive customer relationships. The role suits someone who is mechanically and electronically inclined, independent, and motivated. Experienced key technicians are welcome, as are candidates with the right attitude and drive to complete the company’s training course. The position includes paid and on-the-job training with seasoned Key Technicians.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical and electronic skills.
• Sales and customer service experience.
• Strong work ethic and self-motivation, with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to work outside in all kinds of weather.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, key duplication, and transponder programming.
• Previous experience as a Key Technician.

Responsibilities

• Produce duplicate keys and transponders for vehicles.
