About The Position

Wavetronix is seeking a Traffic Systems Technical Solutions Consultant to install, configure, troubleshoot, and support intelligent transportation technology throughout New England. This full-time role combines hands-on technical fieldwork, customer support, product training, and technical consulting. Although this position is posted as Traffic Systems Technical Solutions Consultant, this position will be internally classified as Technical Sales Support and will fulfill the duties below. Travel: Approximately 50% of the time throughout Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. Additional travel may be required based on project needs. A company vehicle is provided. Candidates located in or near Massachusetts are strongly preferred.

Requirements

• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Customer-focused with strong technical troubleshooting skills.
• Technical degree (EE, EET, or related field) or ITS/traffic industry certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, demonstrate, and troubleshoot Wavetronix products.
• Build strong customer relationships and provide technical support in the field and remotely.
• Deliver technical training and presentations to customers.
• Conduct site surveys and review project plans to recommend solutions.
• Diagnose technical issues and implement effective resolutions.
• Document activities, maintain trip reports, and track projects in CRM.
• Collaborate across teams and share knowledge throughout the organization.
• Adapt to changing schedules and travel as needed throughout assigned territories.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
