Traffic Signal Technician
About The Position

We are a Commercial and Industrial Electrical contractor specializing in Heavy Industrial Electrical, Highway Lighting, and Traffic Signalization projects. We serve corporate clients and government entities, maintaining yearly contracts with several counties and the Florida Department of Transportation. With a second location in St. Augustine and an upcoming third location in Summerfield, we offer opportunities for career and educational advancement.
Requirements
- 2+ years of traffic signal, roadway electrical, or highway lighting experience required.
- FDOT experience required.
- Knowledge of traffic signal construction and equipment.
- Ability to read plans and follow specifications.
- Ability to work safely as part of a crew in roadway and construction environments.
- Must be able to work outdoors, travel, and work nights, weekends, overtime, and out of town as needed.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
- CDL Class A preferred; CDL holders must have held their license for at least three (3) years.
- Must be able to pass required drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities
- Install and maintain traffic signal systems and related equipment.
- Install poles, mast arms, signal heads, cabinets, conduit, and other electrical components.
- Assist with wiring, excavation, trenching, concrete work, and equipment installation.
- Read and follow project plans, specifications, and work orders.
- Safely operate tools and construction equipment.
- Follow FDOT, Maintenance of Traffic, and company safety requirements.
- Inspect completed work and maintain quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
