About The Position

Put Your Electrical Skills to Work for Branson. This position involves installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of electrical systems, including street lighting, traffic signals, high-voltage equipment, and facility systems. The role requires inspecting, diagnosing, and troubleshooting electrical issues to ensure critical infrastructure operates safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include operating tools and equipment, such as bucket trucks, to complete electrical work in the field. The position is located in and around the City of Branson, Missouri, and requires work to be performed onsite.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Three (3) years of electrical experience in installation, maintenance, and repair—or completion of an electrical apprenticeship.
Possession of a Journeyman Electrician's license with working knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC) standards.
A valid driver's license with the ability to be insured on the city's insurance plan.
Ability to obtain Work Zone Safety certification within 6 (six) months of employment.
Willingness to respond to emergency call-outs and work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays.
Ability to successfully complete a background check, drug and alcohol screening, and physical agility assessment.

Nice To Haves

Possession of International Municipal Signal Association (IMSA) Traffic Signal Technician 1.
Experience with repair work of street lighting.
