About The Position
Corus Radio Calgary has an exciting opportunity for a Maternity Leave-Contract, position as a Traffic Coordinator in our Calgary office. Reporting to the Traffic Manager, the successful candidate will be an integral part of the Traffic team.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail with ability to meet tight deadlines
- Microsoft office computer skills including Excel
- Must be pro-active, ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multi-task with solid organizational skills.
- A positive, friendly manner and customer service approach that enables the successful candidate to deal with challenging situations with empathy and sincerity.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a radio traffic or broadcasting operational role is preferred
- Previous Traffic or WideOrbit Software experience is preferred
Responsibilities
- Inputting data entries of traffic orders within our traffic software
- Assemble and edit commercial logs
- Assist with filing system
- Reconcile previous days commercial log
- Communicate and assist our sales department with inventory inquiries.
- Verify contract confirmations
- Run and Print reports
- Assist on-air with commercial traffic inquiries
