About The Position

This role serves as the initial point of contact for all truck drivers arriving at the Terminal for loading or unloading. It is a detail-oriented position with numerous duties and functions, performed in compliance with Company Policy and Procedures.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills required.
  • Excellent PC skills, with proficiency in Microsoft products required, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to proof work for accuracy.
  • Basic knowledge of petroleum products and industry terminology required.
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with other personnel, corporate departments, as well as, with external customers required.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently, managing time and scheduling to meet appropriate deadlines.
  • Ability to take directions from supervisors and work in a team environment required.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and independently conduct job accountabilities.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year experience preferred.
  • Experience in industry operations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and distribute Bills of Lading for all trucks.
  • Record scale weights and loading quantity.
  • Prepare and distribute loading forms.
  • Distribute M.S.D.S. sheets and other related documents to customers.
  • Verify load and safe fill quantities.
  • Input all transactions into the Accounting System(s).
  • Monitor Terminal video surveillance equipment.
  • Operate and monitor facility communication equipment.
  • Assist in the processing of driver/customer paperwork and directing driver loading activity throughout assigned shift.
  • Proper resolution of driver mis-loading incidents and product quality issues.
  • Work within logistics group to ensure that customer activity is properly accounted for.
  • Prepare daily reports.
  • Handle customer paperwork and load activity.
  • Maintain records and files, both physical and network.
  • Work in cooperation with field personnel to implement measures to assure the operational integrity of the pipeline systems.
  • Balance to control over and short conditions, track product movements to accurately perform remote product switches into storage batch changes.
  • Inventory control of all systems.
  • Respond to all emergency conditions, making proper notifications and completing documentation.
  • Communicate directly with personnel, other petroleum companies and the public to coordinate operations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Reduce potential risk to public safety and environment and minimize company liability.
  • Improve operations efficiency and financial profitability through well-maintained facilities.
